Stand Out
Be sure to bring a colourful, attractive stand. With so many employers vying for the attention of students you need to be able to distinguish yourself. There are many design and logistics companies that will help you with your needs. Our staff will also be on hand to help you set up your stand should you need.
Be sure to highlight all of the opportunities you offer and in what areas. Do you offer placements? Internships? Do you want to meet management students? Engineers? Mathematicians? You don’t want to miss any passing traffic so make sure that the opportunities you are offering are clear and stand out.
Gadgets and Gizmos
As well as bringing leaflets and brochures advertising your organisation and the opportunities you offer, it is always a good idea to bring something to give away. Product samples and marketing gadgets go down very well with students. Once you’ve got their attention you can talk to them about your organisation and find out if they are the kind of student you want to meet.
Appearance
Wear flat shoes. You will be standing up all day.
Smart. Not intimidating, appear approachable but professional.
Smile. Most important if you want to attract people to your company.
